Set CAD Manager Channel
You can set up the CAD Manager location in the CAD Manager Control Utility. Use the InfoCenter Settings dialog box to access the Communication Center. In the dialog box, the Communication Center settings include:- Autodesk Channels
- Balloon Notification
- RSS Feeds
In the Communication Center panel, you specify the number of results to display. Use the CAD Manager Control Utility to specify CAD Manager Channel settings.
Specify the Channels
In the Autodesk Channels panel, you choose which Autodesk feed to include in the Communication Center panel. The description of each channel is displayed in the description column of the list.
Set Balloon Notification
You customize the appearance of balloon notification in the Balloon Notification panel. In the right pane, select or clear the options to turn balloon notification on or off, enter the transparency value of the balloon, or set the value using the slider.
Receive New Message Notification
On the right side of the menu bar, click the Communication Center button to display the Communication Center panel. Communication Center provides the following kinds of announcements:- Software updates
- Articles and tips
- Product support information
- RSS feeds
When new information is available, a balloon message is displayed below the Communication Center button. Click the link in the balloon message to open the article or announcement.
To customize the appearance of balloon messages, click Search Settings. In the InfoCenter Settings dialog box, in the left pane, click Balloon Notification. If you prefer not to be notified, you can turn off Balloon Notification in the InfoCenter Settings dialog box. You can also customize the transparency of balloon messages as well as the length of time for balloon notifications to display.
Customize QuickAccess Toolbar
On the Quick Access toolbar, you can store commands that you frequently use.Right-click the Quick Access toolbar and click Customize Quick Access Toolbar. The Customize User Interface dialog opens and displays the list of commands available. Drag commands you want to add from the command list pane in the Customize User Interface dialog box to the Quick Access toolbar.
